David R. Ewert

David Ewert joined Duxstad, Bestul & McNaughton in 2022 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. David grew up on a family farm in rural Minnesota. His experience on the farm taught him that hard work, resourcefulness, and creativity are honored traditions that breed success. He grew up in a community much like Southern Wisconsin, where agriculture interacts with industry, business, and culture to shape all aspects of daily life. His insight is an important asset as he serves clients in Green and Lafayette Counties, guiding them through the interpersonal, economic, and societal ramifications of their legal concerns.

Philosophy

Effective legal counsel requires creativity,  weighing client goals and potential outcomes. David understands the role clear and direct communication plays in identifying options and selecting the best fit. By assessing the broader context of a legal issue, David helps clients understand and address both the immediate and long-term effects of their situation. Whether a matter calls for tenacity or dexterity, effective litigation or patient negotiation, David tailors his approach to the task at hand.
